About this experience
A LITTLE MORE BREATHTAKING
Join us for a pre-sunset e-bike tour to a beautiful spot, on or around, one of our stunning beaches to try and catch that Golden Hour Glow and cycle back during Twilight. Whilst we can't promise you a definite sunset, we can offer you a more relaxed evening's cycle through the lanes, and a more unusual choice of Cycling Beverage by the Sea (thanks to our clever e-bike bottle carriers). Keep your eyes on our horizon (website), for our Golden Hour Tours, as we'll only arrange them as a Pop Up Tour offer when we think we'll catch that captivating sky!
A LITTLE BIT OF GEEKY INFO
Golden Hour is during the both first hour after sunrise and the last hour of light before Sunset. It is also sometimes called Magic Hour, basking everything in its wake in a warm natural golden hue. It's truly magical and breathtaking to see over the beach and ocean, and makes for captivating photographs. Golden Hour occurs when the sun is lower in sky when the light is directional, creating diffused soft lighting. In the evening this flows into Blue Hour (which is ironic as it typically only lasts 20-30 minutes!), or Twilight as you may already know it when the sun is ducking below the horizon.
CYCLING BEVERAGE BY THE SEA
On booking, at the bottom of the section asking you to provide additional information for each Rider for bike size etc, please choose which Cycling Beverage by the Sea each Rider would like. Only 1x drink is included per Rider as you will need to carry these individually in our e-bike bottle carriers.
Check out our Q&T Page.
Hopefully not! We hope this Tour will give you a taste of electric bikes and your cycling skills...you might even think about trying out our other Tours. Maybe think about it over that post cycle G&T?
"You have to be kidding"…was Rob's response to a host description.
Rob will be your main host during cycling, I will also join tours where I can and help with transporting bikes. Rob is a very experienced, confident cyclist having done lots of road cycling, mountain bike cycling, e-biking, sportief's etc., and he knows the North Devon lanes well. He's calm under pressure, decent at first aid (though hopefully none will be needed!), and knows his bike maintenance and repair stuff...so you're in good hands...not kidding.
